Records & Information Management

Records and Information Management, or "RIM", is the management of the life cycle of a record from its creation to its destruction/archive.  The life cycle categorizes records into types and dictates their value to the organization, how long it is to exist and the procedures for archival or destruction of records of that type.

Interviews are held with company representatives with the goal of offering participants an opportunity to discuss their current records management practices, including existing policies or tools, current challenges, and record inventory.

Intellinetics Records Information Management consulting services provide recommendations on how your company can:
  • Manage paper and electronic records more efficiently
  • Reduce paper storage costs through application of a retention/destruction schedule
  • Gain compliance with regulatory requirements that govern your industry
  • Design a go-forward planning document to ensure record management and retention compliance
