Intellivue Web Module Intellivue Web Module is a thin client that is for viewing Intellivue
content over the web and provides full viewer functionality (ie:
page rotation, zoom, etc.).
The Intellivue Web Module enables authorized
users to query and view documents within the Intellivue repository. A very
powerful and unique feature of the Intellivue Web Module is a embedded
full-function image viewer. In addition, users may zoom in/out,
rotate, and navigate the entire contents of a folder (such as Microsoft
Office files, Notes, Redactions, etc.) and use the standing Windows
printing functions.
In addition, the Intellivue Web Module supports
advanced retrieval functions such as wildcard, partial, interval,
Boolean and multi-value searches. The Intellivue Web Module brokers
these requests to/from the Intellivue imaging database and related
image files. The
Intellivue Web Module is an Internet Server Application Programming
Interface (ISAPI) that is installed on a web server running Micorsoft’s
Internet Information Server (IIS).
Intellivue Interface Module The Intellivue Interface
Module, or IIM, is an application that allows browser-based applications
to acquire Intellivue images through the use of a specific URL
format. IIM is an Internet Server Application Programming Interface
(ISAPI) component that runs in conjunction with Internet Information
Server (IIS) Web server on either an Intranet or the Internet. It
requires that commands and parameters be passed to enable it to
know how to return data to the requestor based on parameters chosen
respectively.
The interface utilizes standard
HTTP calls from your mission-critical application to the Intellivue
database and image repository so that all content (images, photos,
video, audio, etc.) can be displayed directly in your application’s browser. When
the database tables are aligned, the system will automatically
pass the unique identifiers from your application to the Intellivue
repository without any additional keystrokes or data entry.
Intellivue OCR Module Intellivue’s Full-Text
Optical Character Recognition (OCR) Module converts scanned image
files to text, which are then processed and rendered searchable
with Intellivue's full text search capabilities.
Full-text
OCR is a server side process, enabling full-text searching from any
Intellivue workstation. Any Intellivue document group can allow OCR/Indexing
Service to process content, allowing end users accessing applications
with this setting to then use the Global Search capabilities of Intellivue
to search for full text.
Intellivue .NET Application Programming Interface The
Intellinetics .NET API Framework Class Library consists of namespaces
that provide easy access and complete functionality from managed
code to the Intellivue Document Management System. These namespaces
and the classes they provide constitute the Intellivue architecture.
This architecture enables clients to build components that efficiently
store, retrieve, manage and process content contained in the document
repository. This library enables clients to drive all aspects
of document management features and functions seamlessly within
your user interface.
OCR Redaction Utility Legal discovery efforts and
public records requests create a need for both public and private
companies to "black out" or
redact data from scanned images that have been identified as secure
or confidential.
The Intellivue OCR Redaction Utility pulls images from your
document imaging database and scans the TIFF images using a
full-text OCR process where each image is scanned for confidential
data. Areas containing secure data such as Social Security Numbers
or Federal Tax IDs are permanently redacted and the altered
TIFF image is passed back to your document imaging database
for secure search and retrieval.
