Press Release

April 16, 2004 - The Ohio Department of Public Safety, Highway Patrol Division upgrades to the latest version of the Intellivue Document Imaging Platform

(Columbus, OH) – The Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) recently awarded an upgrade of their existing Intellivue document imaging system to Intellinetics. The platform upgrade represents an exciting step in the evolution in the OSHP/Intellinetics partnership.  All Intellivue applications will be migrated to a new hardware platform, and based on recent development efforts, OSHP can now take advantage of the latest version of Intellivue while using a platform that is in alignment with their office-wide technology standards.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) Central Records Unit is responsible for maintaining records and reports for all incidents involving Ohio State Highways, including vehicle accidents and crashes, policies and procedures, and case investigations.

In 2000, OSHP implemented Intellinetics’ Intellivue document imaging software as its electronic document storage and retrieval system, allowing sub-second access to millions of images. Since then, Intellinetics has converted over 240GB of electronic data, interfaced with the MAPPER database to facilitate auto-indexing, and assisted with the creation of both intranet and internet access to documents within the system.
